Architectural Design

We begin with the site, studying orientation, terrain, wind patterns, and neighbourhood context. From concept sketches to detailed construction drawings, every design phase builds on this foundation. What you get is a set of plans that work both spatially and practically.

Construction & Execution

Our team manages the build from start to finish. We handle material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and daily quality checks. Because we also designed the building, we can solve problems quickly without the back-and-forth that slows most projects down.

How a Project Comes Together

First Meeting & Site Visit

We visit the site, understand your brief, discuss budget expectations, and assess any regulatory requirements. This initial step is free and helps both sides decide if we're a good fit.

Concept Design

Based on the site study, we develop initial design options: floor plans, massing, material direction. You'll see how the building sits on the land and how the spaces flow before we commit to anything.

Design Development & Drawings

Once the concept is approved, we develop detailed construction drawings. Structural plans, material specifications, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) coordination. Everything the build team needs to start.

Construction & Handover

We manage the build on-site with regular progress updates. You'll know exactly where things stand at every stage. When the building is done, we walk through it together before we hand over the keys.

Atelier Nusa is based in Mataram, Lombok. We've been designing and building across the island long enough to know which materials last, which contractors deliver, and how to navigate the local building landscape.

That practical knowledge is what separates a building that looks good in renders from one that actually works, five, ten, twenty years down the line.
